Hopefully this one will be a fairly quick one for you guys. I have a web server with an ODBC connection to a Filemaker Pro 5.5 database. The connection works fine and I can pull data with my SQL query. Since Excel 'upgraded' to 15.25 64 bit Filemaker Pro ODBC is not working (with Filemaker ODBC driver versions 14.09 and 15.06). The Filemaker ODBC drivers are ok with statistical package R and with the 'test' button in the driver manager. 64 bit ODBC drivers from Actual ( for Access and Open Source Databases) are working with Excel 15.27. I've been using ODBC successfully in the Mac for a few months to import Filemaker Data into an Excel spreadsheet. With the latest update to 15.25.1 (1680826) when I try to create a New Database Query->From Database from the Ribbon or Data->Get External Data->From Database from the Menubar, Excel crashes. I have two existing spreadsheets that utilize this mechanism. As there are many drivers having the same name, we suggest you to try the Driver Tool, otherwise you can try one by on the list of available driver below. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on, or seen this themselves? Best android emulator 2016 mac. This was working great until I checked this today. Note in edit: FWIW, I just reinstalled the previous version - 15.24 (160709) and now everything works great. So this seems to be a problem with the update. Second note in edit: FilemakerPro uses either a 32 bit or a 64 bit driver according to the client application. So, all my drivers are 64 bit compliant AND Excel still throws errors as a FilemakerPro ODBC client with 15.25. That would imply that there is a bug in the Excel update that is not simply due to 32 bit - 64 bit incompatibilities. ![]() I started this thread in the Office for Mac forum (without solution), but was advised by the moderator to try to post here. I am trying to get Excel 2016 (15.30, Office 365 subscription) to acces a filemaker database via ODBC, as a client. The database seems to communicate via ODBC and iQueryODBC can see the tables and data in the Filemaker Database. When I try to establish a link between Excel and Filemaker via ODBC (Data / Get External Data / From Database) the iODBC chooser window opens but with no functionality - DSN connections cannot be tested (nothing happens) or configured, and clicking OK to advance to Query just brings me back to the Spreadsheet, with no data. I suspect there is some confusion with the versions of the iODBC chooser that Excel is calling up, but I do not see how I can check to see that its 64 bit and, if its not, how I can force Excel to use a different Data Source Chooser that is 64 bit. Any ideas very much appreciated. Hi, >>I suspect there is some confusion with the versions of the iODBC chooser that Excel is calling up Sorry but my knowledge about iODBC chooser is limited and we currently do not have the environment to help you test this. However, have you tried referring to the instructions into see if we can verify its bit version using file command? Besides, a new (Version: 15.31.0, Build 17021600) has been released on February 16, 2017. It is recommended to try checking for and installing the latest updates to see if there will be any improvement. Cisco iou keygen python download full. Hope this can be helpful.
