It just works really great and the 100 free sensors limit is more than enough for my homelab! Hi guys, 99% of the VM's on my homelab run Linux (Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS) which works out fine for me. Free, and with unattended-upgradesenabled i don't need to worry about keeping them up to date; they do it theirselves. However i would like to monitor them for stuff like CPU and memory usage, disk usage. PRTG is very good for this, their '100 sensors free' offer is enough for my homelab. But it only runs on Windows, which seems to have quite a bigger load (i use 2012 R2) than my Ubuntu VM's. Does anyone knows an application like PRTG, but then something that can run on Linux? I have tried LibreNMS this weekend, but it only supports SNMP for grabbing information from a host, while with PRTG you can also use SSH, HTTP, SQL etc and also custom sensors (custom SSH command or HTTP query for example). Ofcourse i have looked in this subreddit' wiki, but there are so many packages out there to monitor machines. PRTG is perfect for me with their wizards to add new devices and sensors, i don't want to spend hours and hours on configuring something like Nagios. Main objective is to have something that can be easily set-up and configured. Using GenYoutube you can download any type of videos from the Youtube. This question already has an answer here: • 5 answers We used to work with a local Apache instance (WAMP) as a development environment, but we installed recently a PRTG server on the same machine, so it listens to the same port, as it is a web-based tool. We are not able to reach our Apache server anymore as web requests on the server IP keep going to PRTG. I changed the PRTG listening port to 8080 so that we would have 2 web servers listening to 2 dfferent ports. It doesn't seems to work well: when I try to reach xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 with a browser (Firefox, Chrome) it instantly changes to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080, and I get to PRTG home page. Why does it changes from what I requested? Formatting for seagate mac and windows 8. Should I use a totally different non-standard port? What solutions do I have?
